May 09, One of my favourite campers is the VW T25, and we have owned three over the years; two high top models in the UK, and a French registered high top when we lived in France some years ago. The best thing about the T25 and the majority of VW campers is that they are fantastic dual purpose vehicles, and not too big for everyday use, and that sliding side door is a huge bonus when transporting goods around.
We could not face being without a camper when we lived in France during the 90s, and spotted a lovely high top model in the used section at a motorhome dealership. It was a German conversion, with interior fitments very similar to those found in the Westfalia; its only drawback was the colour, bright green! It was fitted with the non-turbo 1.
